What happened to Lorin Shalanko?
Jason White confirmed the death of Lorin Shalanko in a post made on his Facebook page. The post reads “I am very sorry to say that Lorin Shalanko died yesterday. A master ballet accompanist, unswervingly dedicated instrumental and voice accompanist, world traveler, marathon runner….he was like a samurai sometimes, just casually walking around being completely prepared for absolutely everything that might come his way. Unflappable. Beautiful musician.
