Veterans Memorial High School Police Investigations – A heavy police presence is currently at the Veterans Memorial High School in Mission, Texas Wednesday. According to reports, the Veterans Memorial High School campus located on E Mile 2 Rd has been placed on lockdown following reports of a person with a weapon at the vicinity. In a statement by the school, parents have been urged not to worry at this time as law enforcement agencies are currently responding to the situation on campus.

Maintaining a safe learning environment is among the highest priorities here at Veterans Memorial High School. We are letting you know that in an abundance of caution, we placed the campus in a lockdown in response to a report of a possible weapon being brought on campus in the car of a visitor. That individual has been apprehended. However, the lockdown is continuing while law enforcement finalizes its investigation. Please keep clear of the campus area and we will notify you when the lockdown has been lifted

According to the reports of the police, a guy was shot and injured at a posh hotel in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. The incident took place just before midnight on Sunday at the Luma Hotel, which is located in the 100 block of Channel Street. The hotel is located quite close to both Oracle Park and Chase Centre. The victim, who was found by the police, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were considered to be life-threatening. It has been determined that he is a man from Ohio who is 28 years old and who checked into the Luma Hotel after attending a wedding celebration.
The hotel had damaged windows when the crews arrived to investigate the scene. He heard as many as seven bullets. According to the police, there have been no arrests made in connection with the incident.
