Lindsay Heck Death – 25-year-old Lindsay Heck died on December 20, 2022. Lindsay Heck passed away unexpectedly from unknown causes. Dr. Lindsay Ann Heck was the daughter of Carl Heck, West Wyoming and Sherry Drungell, of Tunkhannock. Lindsay was everyone’s shining star; her laughter and grin brightened any space. Everyone she cared about could depend on her as a devoted friend and confidante. Lindsay had a strong passion for people and always placed others before herself.
She graduated from Tunkhannock Area School District’s 2016 graduating class as its valedictorian. She later graduated summa cum laude with a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh in May 2022. She was a fellow in the Community Pharmacy Practice Development and Research Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. She enjoyed conducting research, managing numerous immunization clinics, and imparting her enthusiasm and expertise to others.

Lindsay is survived by her mother and stepfather, Sherry and Jack Drungell of Tunkhannock; her father Carl Heck, of West Wyoming; her sister Carly Heck (fiancé Matthew Snyder) of Pittsburgh and brother Robert Tsikalas II of Tunkhannock; grandmothers Joyce DeAngelo (Nonni) of Exeter and Marion Heck (Grammy) of West Wyoming, her godfather and uncle, Bill DeAngelo of Exeter and her godmother and aunt, Maria Heck of West Pittston. In addition to her stepsiblings Mackenzie Drungell, Morgan Drungell and Jackson Drungell.
She is also survived by multiple cousins, aunts, uncles, and her beloved cat Chloe. She has joined her Nonno, Grandpa Heck, and Gary in Heaven.
Lindsay Heck Visitation and Funeral Service
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation to be held Monday, 12/26/22, from 5-7 pm at Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave. Exeter. Those attending her funeral should go directly to the church on Tuesday, 12/27/22 for a 2:00 pm, Mass of Christian Burial being held at Saint Barbara’s Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter. The Rev. Paul McDonnell, O.S.J. will be celebrant.
Interment with Rite of Committal will be in St. John the Baptist Slovak Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.
