Leonel Villasenor Cause Of Death, Obituary Not Yet available – The name of the inmate found deceased at San Diego Central Jail last week was announced by authorities on Thursday. Deputies noticed Leonel Villasenor, 31, just before 6 p.m. on May 5 while passing near a second-floor holding cell, according to San Diego County Sheriff’s Lt. Chris Steffen.
According to fox5sandiego.com, Villasenor was apparently discovered alone in his cell, slumped against a partition wall near a toilet. Villasenor was given the overdose-reversing medicine Naloxone and CPR by deputies and medical personnel, but he died within 30 minutes of being located, according to Steffen.
