Leonard Lemar, Patricia Lemar and Malinda Shano Cause Of Death, Obituary Not Yet Available – Three motorcyclists were killed in a violent incident on Interstate 40 north of Mulberry, Ark., on Thursday, May 12.
According to 5newsonline.com, the three bikers that were slain have been identified by Arkansas State Police. Six people were hurt, including four motorbike riders. The following people were killed:
Leonard Lemar, Jr. of Slidell, La.
Patricia Lemar of Slidell, La.
Malinda Shano of Terrytown, La.
The driver of a pickup truck was travelling east in the westbound lanes of the interstate when he smashed into a group of motorcyclists, according to the fatality report from state police. The cause of the pickup truck crossing the interstate’s grassy median is yet unknown.
Adam Walker claimed 5NEWS he was seconds away from being involved in the incident when he witnessed a white truck driving in the wrong direction (not confirmed) and collide with the motorcyclists. To avoid the crash, he and his girlfriend swerved into the ditch. He stated there was an explosion on impact and that scores of first responders and aircraft are on the area.
