Leo Weiss Death – The longtime General Manager of Creme Taylor Weiss and her husband Jesse mourns the death of their beloved son Leo William Weiss who passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Monday, June 5, 2023. He was 1 year, 9 months, and 14 days old at the time of his death. Leo and his parents were residents of Des Moines, Iowa. ChaCha’s Confections shared the sad news via social media. “There are no words to describe the deep sadness in our baking community as our dear friends Taylor and Jesse have lost their sweet son Leo.”
Who was Leo Weiss?
Leo was obviously eager to greet the world. He was born on August 22, 2021, 4 weeks before his due date, to his parents Taylor and Jesse Weiss. He learned how to eat and grow over his 20 days in the Blank NICU. He became stronger throughout the course of the days, charming the nurses with his laid-back demeanor and adorable smile. He easily assimilated into his family after returning home, bringing everyone closer to one another.
He became more active as he grew bigger and stronger. He immediately transitioned from walking to nonstop running. Leo liked being outside and going on adventures, especially in Union Park, which he considered to be his backyard. He enjoyed riding his bike, playing on splash pads, and enjoying walks with his parents.
He always looked to you to make sure you know he was having fun and he had a contagious smile. Toy Story and Bluey were two of Leo’s favorites. He really enjoyed looking for new toys that he could turn into devices. He enjoyed collecting all the small trinkets for a rainy day. He adored using colorful Post-it notes and blocks to arrange and coordinate things. He adored Ruby, his “sister cat,” and the two of them enjoyed playing outside a lot.
About Leo Weiss
Even as a small child, Leo had an old soul. He enjoyed spending a lot of time with his books and reading aloud to his parents and grandparents while they laughed as the pages turned. He was incredibly curious and wanted to understand everything. His small mind was obviously constantly thinking. Leo enjoyed fine cuisine, and his parents supported his passion for all things breakfast-related!
In his brief time here, he had such an impact on so many people, and everyone who met him will never forget that endearing smile. Taylor and Jesse, his parents, as well as Brenda Haskins, Peter, and Tracee Weiss as well as Mike and Dorothy Irving, his great-grandparents, will all cherish their memories of him.
