Leann Mueller Death – LeAnn Mueller, the owner of la Barbecue in east Austin, Texas has passed away suddenly. Leann Mueller was announced dead today, Wednesday morning, the 14th of June 2023. She died at the age of 51. According to reports, Mueller was surrounded by her closest friends and family at the time of her passing. She was a perfect example of what it means to be a wonderful person. Mueller had a calming presence and was extremely kind.

There was no cause of death reported for Leann Mueller at the time of this publication. Thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family during this difficult time. Mueller is survived by her wife, Ali Clem; their dogs Mr. Pickles and Bobby Dingle; her nephew Johnson; and countless friends and colleagues.

Leann Mueller: Bio

LeAnn Mueller was born on February 20, 1972, in Taylor, Texas, the daughter of Bobby Mueller and Patricia “Trish” Mueller. Despite being born into a famous Texas barbecue family, Mueller was determined to forge her path. While growing up in Central Texas, she developed a passion for both photography and cooking. After moving to New York and Los Angeles, Mueller pursued a career as a photographer and quickly became sought-after in the industry.

Career

Mueller’s illustrious career saw her capture some of the biggest names in the celebrity world, including Jay Z, Willie Nelson, and Leon Bridges. Her exceptional work graced the covers of numerous magazines such as Rolling Stone and Texas Monthly. Eventually settling in Austin, she met her wife, Ali Clem, co-owner of la Barbecue, and the two travelled to different parts of the world, relishing new experiences.

In 2012, they opened La Barbecue, and their establishment gained widespread recognition. Mueller was a tough yet sensitive person who would go out of her way to help others. Her home was a place where one could enjoy great food, drinks, and art. Unfortunately, Mueller passed away, less than two years after losing her best friend and brother, John. The passing of both siblings marks the end of a historic era in Texas barbecue.
