Bride of Chucky Actor, Lawrence Dane, Died At Age 84 – Dane died on March 21 at his home in Ontario following a long fight with pancreatic cancer, according to his publicist.
Lawrence Dane, a well-known Canadian actor who starred in the films Bride of Chucky and Mission: Impossible, has died at the age of 84.
According to metro.co.uk, Lawrence Joseph Zahab was born on April 3, 1927, in Quebec, to a Lebanese family. As a child, he took acting training to overcome his shyness before making his first television appearances in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Following a meeting with film director FR Crawley in 1958, he was engaged as an extra and stand-in for the Canadian police drama R.C.M.P.
Dane went on to perform in a variety of roles on shows like Festival, The Felony Squad, The FBI, and Mission: Impossible, among others.
Running, which depicts the life of American marathon runner Michael Andropolis, played by Michael Douglas, earned him a Genie Award nomination for actor in a supporting role in 1980. Obituary is not available at the time of this publication.
