Lavonne Zietlow Death – Lavonne Zietlow, wife of Retired Kwik Trip CEO Don has sadly passed away. She died on Saturday 4th March 2023 surrounded by her beloved family. She was confirmed dead in a publication posted on Facebook that reads “Just announced that LaVonne Zietlow has passed away. May she rest in peace. Prayers for the family”. The actual cause of her death has not been revealed at the time of this publication.
Who is Don Zietlow?
Don Zietlow, who has worked with Kwik Trip Inc. as President and CEO for the past 52 years, will step down from his position on December 31. He has been serving in this capacity for the past 22 years. Don retired on January 1, 2023, and was to be succeeded as head of the board of directors of Kwik Trip by Scott Zietlow, who is a second-generation owner of the company. In order to take on his new responsibilities at Kwik Trip, he will step down from his position as a professor of surgery in the Mayo Clinic’s Trauma, Critical Care and General Surgery Division in Rochester, Minnesota.
Don Zietlow and John Hansen both took ownership positions in the company in 1972; nevertheless, the ownership of the business was held jointly by both families until the Zietlow family purchased the Hansen family’s participation in the company in the year 2000.
