Lauren Taggart Obituary, Death : Lauren Elizabeth Taggart of Williamsville, New York, passed away suddenly at the age of 17, Monday, March 7, 2022. Lauren was active in sports as a child, playing ice hockey, field hockey and travel softball for Amherst.
Accepted to many colleges across NYS, she looked forward to studying Criminal Justice at Cortland University, after graduating from Williamsville South this spring. Cherished daughter of Christopher and Marty Taggart; beloved sister of Hannah Elise and Sarah Jane Taggart.
She leaves behind grandparents, Dick and Diane Malone of Springwater, NY, Uncle Mike and Aunt Tammy Malone, cousins Corrine, Cody, Great-Aunt Doris Culbertson, cousins Molly, Kathy and Cindy, Aunt Jean Taggart, cousins Eric, Alyssa, Jessica and Elizabeth Taggart, Uncle Tom Taggart, cousins Tess, Sean and Thomas Taggart, Aunt Bonnie Taggart, cousin Brendan Quern, Uncle Dave and Aunt Sue Taggart, cousins Rachael Taggart (Mike Palenski) and Daniel Taggart and Aunt Chenoah (Kevin) Lewis, cousins Tyler and Jake.
Lauren lived life to the fullest and is a loss to our entire community. The family will be present Thursday, March 10th, from 6-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner Hopkins Road).
Family and friends are invited to attend a service to honor Lauren’s life on Saturday, March 12th, at 1 PM at St. John Lutheran Church, 6540 Main St., Williamsville, NY 14221. Please assemble at church.
