Laura Price Rochester Death news – Obituary yet to be released. Sadly, Laura Price has died. She reportedly passed away “peacefully at home,” on Thursday, March 11, 2022. Her cause of death is linked to her prolonged illness. “Laura joined the University of Rochester in 2003 as a Pediatric Resident and Chief Resident; worked as a Neonatal Hospitalist from 2007 – 2015; completed a Perinatal-Neonatal Medicine Fellowship from 2015 – 2018; and then became Assistant Professor and Associate Medical Director of the NICU in the summer of 2018” a statement on her death announcement said.
Who was Laura Price? Biography
Dr. Price is the Associate Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Golisano Children’s Hospital. She was a member of the leadership team working on optimizing the care, safety and outcomes of our neonatal patients.
Interests include Neonatology: neurodevelopment, neuroprotection, safety, systems of care and modifiable outcomes..
Research
Dr. Price focuses on fetal neurodevelopment in infants of diabetic mothers utilizing newborn EEG. Her current project is supported by Richard & Mae Stone Goode Foundation Grant, Department of Pediatrics Dean’s Fellowship, and the Department of Pediatrics Bradford Award.
