She was a former Teacher at Manor Discovery Center in Easton, Maryland from 1991 to 1995. She was the founder and Photographer of In His Grace Photography for a period of 18 years and 7 months.
Laura Farley Olson was a Photographer at Rock Shrimp Productions in Works in New York, New York from February 2014. She was later hired at Chesapeake Bay Wedding Magazine on June 23, 2021. In addition to having a passion for people, Laura has worked as a documentary photographer for more than ten years.
What began as a preoccupation with preserving moments in the life of her family gradually expanded to include documenting the lives of other people. She was a photographer who has won multiple awards, and in addition to capturing a large number of weddings and families, she has also traversed the world to take pictures of people living their lives. In addition to photographing for Rock Shrimp Productions for Beat Bobby Flay, Laura has had her work published in a number of mainstream magazines and blogs, such as The Knot and Style Me Pretty.
Additionally, Laura was currently on the advisory committee of the Chesapeake Bay Wedding Magazine and shoots the magazine’s bi-annual covers. The next generation is going to benefit much from the workshop that Laura and her colleagues are now developing. Laura is really enthusiastic about this initiative. She will be tremendously remembered for her talent and bravery.
