Who was Latonya Chambers?
Latonya Chambers graduated from LSU Alexandria where she studied Business Administration. She also graduated from Louisiana Christian University and Grand Canyon University. Latonya worked as a former 4th & 5th Grade Teacher at Ball Elementary School. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend, among many other titles. She always knew how to light up a room and make those around her feel loved. Since becoming a teacher, she has cheered me on.
She inspired many every day with her love for her students and teaching. Latonya was beautiful inside and out. She went to PES to work this year, literally because she wanted to make a difference with kids that she knew needed her, and that is what she was: a difference maker. Her spirit was infectious, and her love for her students was evident in the kindness and interest she showed each one. Latonya made each student feel truly valued.
