Lars B. Walker Cause Of Death, Obituary Unavailable Yet – The driver of a pickup truck that crashed near the Tops Market on West Main Street in Batavia on Saturday afternoon has been identified by Batavia Police. Lars B. Walker, 64, of Phoenix, Arizona, was killed.
According to buffalonews.com, Walker apparently suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the pickup, according to police, who responded to a call about the accident at 3:48 p.m. The truck crossed both traffic lanes, slammed a fence at 390 W. Main St. and came to rest in a ditch, police said.
According to the report, Batavia firefighters and Mercy EMC tried unsuccessfully to revive Walker. Genesee County Coroner John Peck pronounced him dead on the scene. An autopsy was performed on his body at the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office in Rochester to determine the cause of death.
