Death: 82-Year-Old Died In Emmett Accident – According to Ada County Coroner Dotti Owens’ report, an 82-year-old Emmett man died after a two-vehicle crash in Gem County on Thursday.

According to idahostatesman.com, After being evacuated to the hospital by air ambulance, Larry Sawyer was pronounced dead at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Sawyer “succumbed to his injuries” in the crash, according to the coroner’s report.

The accident happened near Emmett, at the crossroads of Idaho 52 and Mill Road. Sawyer was wearing a seat belt, but it’s unclear if he was driving or riding shotgun in one of the cars. Idaho State Police are investigating the accident, according to the coroner’s office.
