Death: A car crash in Hartford splits in two, killing the driver
In an accident in Hartford on Thursday night, one person was killed. According to authorities, the collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the junction of Sigourney Street and Farmington Avenue.
According to nbcconnecticut.com, The accident included a BMW X5 and an Acura TL. When the Acura collided with a utility pole, it split in half. The driver of the Acura was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to authorities.
Larry Lugo, 28, of Hartford, was identified by police. According to authorities, he was the only one in the car. Two individuals in the BMW were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
