How did the Accident Happen?
On the evening of September 6th, Kris, his mother Nina, and his father Dhruva were on their way back to Kris’s house after attending a community function. Kris and his father were sadly killed when a speeding vehicle veered into their lane and collided with them head-on, causing both of them to be killed instantly. Nina was sent to a hospital in the area for emergency surgery, and her status has now been upgraded to stable.
Kris was on a mission to successfully take over the family business that had been run by his father, Classic Carolina, which had been in the family since 1993. On the Saturday, September 9th, Kris had intended for the business to celebrate its reopening with a big event that was to be hosted there. The business underwent a total transformation thanks to Kris and his father’s arduous efforts in remodeling and updating the space. They had a lot of exciting plans lined up for the success of Classic, and it is incredibly heartbreaking that they had to cancel the grand reopening and keep the store closed for an indeterminate amount of time because of it.
