He died in the accident while he was on his way to school on Thursday, September 28, 2023. The Odyssey Preparatory Academy, Family of Schools mourn the death of Mr. Kimball Clark, who was a treasured member of the Odyssey Institute family and a much-loved instructor. He was dedicated and committed to making sure that the students excel.

This morning, September 28, Kimball Clark was on his way to the school community to provide his assistance when he was engaged in a terrible car accident, which ultimately resulted in his passing. Since the year 2021, Mr. Clark has been working in education, first as a guest instructor and more recently as a high school teacher. His family has called the Odyssey neighborhood home continuously from the year 2012.
Both the Odyssey staff and the students will feel a profound sense of loss due to the departure of this joyful, creative, and enthusiastic member of the math team. The school’s principal said in a message conveying their heartfelt condolences to Kimball Clark’s family and friends that everyone at Odyssey Institute is shocked and devastated by his death.
Grief counseling services are being made available at the school in order to support students, faculty, and staff members through this trying time. In the event that it becomes absolutely necessary, a parent has the legal right to pull their child out of high school. When information regarding tributes and memorial services becomes available, the community will be informed as soon as possible.
