Help find missing Kevin McGrath – Following the arrival of a Carnival cruise ship in Miami early on Monday morning, local and federal authorities began hunting for a man who had been reported missing earlier in the day. According to a statement released by Carnival on Tuesday, Kevin McGrath, who is 26 years old, was last seen in his cabin at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, when the Carnival Conquest reported back to the Port of Miami.
His relatives reported that he had gone missing, but he “was not located on board despite an extensive search.” McGrath, who was last seen wearing a black shirt, shorts, and gray sneakers, was the subject of a missing person’s notice issued by the Miami-Dade police department on Tuesday morning. The authorities have stated that he “may be in need of services” and have encouraged anyone with information to get in touch with the relevant departments.
According to Carnival, after it was determined that McGrath was not present aboard the ship, the Coast Guard was notified, and officers from the Miami Police Department arrived to investigate. According to the statement made by the firm, “The guest was not detected by surveillance systems, including U.S. Customs and Border Patrol while they were going through the process of debarking.”
When contacted by phone on Tuesday, McGrath’s brother declined to comment on the situation. After the complaint of the missing person was made on Monday, the Coast Guard provided confirmation that its teams are “actively searching near the Port of Miami and along the South Florida shore.”
