Andy Jones wrote on Facebook; “Last night I heard the awful news that Kevin Coffey has passed away. In 2019 Kevin and I filmed this conversation to promote a project I was hoping to get off the ground, which for various reasons was never shared. I thought in tribute to Kevin I would share it today. We chatted about community and creativity, two things clearly very dear to Kevin. He was a very curious and intelligent man, always very generous with his time, and a passionate supporter of the local community in so many ways. Newcastle has lost a wonderful friend and mentor.”
