Kendall Johnson Death – Kendall Johnson, a St. Louis Heat 04 Zimmer Softball player passed away on Sunday afternoon 10th of July, 2022 at the age of 31. She died in a boating accident. She was born on the 24th of April, 1991. She was an American professional women’s soccer midfielder and defender. She played for the United States U-23 women’s national soccer team. StL Heat 04 Zimmer Softball took to social media to mourn the departure of Kendall Johnson.

A great young lady, athlete, friend, daughter, and person all around. Please keep the Johnson Family in your prayers.”
Kendall was born and breed in Portland, Oregon, where she attended Lincoln High School and was a four-year letter-winner. She won the Gatorade State Player of the Year award and was selected to the ESPN First Team All-America in 2008. She won the state player of the year award twice, in 2007 and 2008, was named to the all-state team three times, and won the Portland Interscholastic League Player of the Year award twice. Her high school team went 18-0-0 as a junior in 2007, going unbeaten as a result of her 12 goals and 15 assists. In 2007 and 2008, Johnson guided Lincoln to state championships. In the 2007 NSCAA High School rankings, the squad was placed first regionally and third overall. In 2008, it was ranked second across the country. Johnson led the squad as captain his senior year and contributed nine assists in addition to 16 goals. She was also recognized as the group’s most important player.
From 2001 to 2009, Johnson played club soccer with FC Portland Sapphire. The team won the state championship three times in 2005, 2007, and 2008 in addition to becoming USYSA Region IV finalists in 2007 and semifinalists in 2005.
Johnson played for the Pilots from 2009 to 2012 while she was a student at the University of Portland. She participated in 21 games in 2009 as a freshman, starting 16, and she contributed three goals and three assists. She was a member of the WCC All-Freshman Team and was chosen to the Second Team All-West Coast Conference. She redshirted the season as a sophomore due to health issues. She made 15 appearances for the Pilots in her junior season of 2010, starting 13 games. She contributed three assists in addition to her two goals.
She scored the game-winning goal against San Francisco and contributed to the game’s lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Santa Clara. Johnson contributed four points, including the game-winning basket, and two assists to Portland’s 9-0 NCAA playoff victory over University of Texas San Antonio. She received honorable mention for WCC All-Academic honors and was chosen to the All-WCC Second Team. She postponed her college final year so that she may pursue a career in soccer.
