Kendall Johnson was a resident of Newton Illinois. He was born into the family of Merrill Dean and Jennifer (Loy) Johnson on July 3, 1970, in Effingham, Illinois. He lived in Newton Illinois until the time of his death. On August 2, 1994, Kendall got married to Leasa Miller. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2022. Kendall served as a supervisor for Quad Graphics in Effingham and co-owned BJ’s Saloon in Newton.
In addition to the Jasper County Shrine Club, Kendall belonged to the Winterrowd Masonic Lodge No. 664 A.F. & A.M., Ainad Temple, East St. Louis, and other organizations. He liked to go searching for arrowheads and mushrooms outside. Emilee, his daughter, was the love of his life. He cherished his nieces and nephews and was a devoted buddy.

Kendall is survived by his daughter Emilee and her husband Caleb Chesnut of Evansville, his brother, sister Staci and her husband John Hopkins of Effingham; sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews Reagan Birch, John Birch, Weston Will and Hattie Wil; his favorite cat, Luna and an extended circle of family and friends.
