Keegan Brashears Death – Keegan Brashears, a 2022 graduate of Moore High School passed away early Sunday morning. He was said to have been involved in a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, April 1, 2023, and later died as result of the injuries suffered in the fatal crash. Moore Baseball confirmed the news of Keegan’s passing on social media.
Moore Baseball shared the news of Brashears with great sadness and they ask loved ones to keep his mother Stephanie, her husband Aron and Keegan’s father Kerry in their thoughts during this unfathomable time. The Moore Lions Baseball program at an appropriate time will be paying our respects to the family.

A high school student was murdered in an automobile accident on Thursday, and an investigation has been launched into the incident. This is the most recent tragedy to befall the school system in the last ten years, and it has left the town in a state of shock. It was around noon on Thursday when the crash took place close to the intersection of SW 134 and Pennsylvania Avenue. At the time of the collision, according to the police report, there were three cars traveling in an easterly direction: two pick-up trucks and one sedan. At least one of the trucks was involved in a collision with a tree.
According to Sgt. Gary Knight of the Oklahoma City Police Department, “one vehicle was in the left lane, one was in the right lane, and another was making a left turn up ahead of them.” One of the drivers “didn’t leave enough stopping distance for the one making the left turn in front of them, and so he tried to swerve, and that’s when he struck not only that vehicle, but the one that knocked him into the vehicle next to him,” said the other driver who was involved in the accident.
According to Knight, one of the trucks had five people inside, one of whom was a 15-year-old boy named Colby McCarron. Knight stated that McCarron was pronounced dead at the scene after rescue crews arrived. According to the authorities, McCarron had his seatbelt on at the time of the collision. The identities of the other people who were involved in the crash have not been released by the police due to the fact that they are juveniles. However, the police have stated that the other four passengers were brought to the hospital, and three of them are in a critical condition.
According to Knight, there were no injuries reported from either of the other two automobiles.
