Kebra Dawn Griffith, 28, of Baxter Springs, Kansas, died abruptly at her home on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Her death has left an indelible mark on her family. Misty (Cox) Griffith and Rex Griffith welcomed Kebra into the world on January 11, 1994 in Joplin, Missouri. Galena High School, class of 2012, was her alma mater. She worked as a lab technician at Mercy Hospital.
Kebra was overjoyed to be the new mother of Renleigh, her 3-month-old daughter. She cherished her time with her family and friends, as well as her French Bulldog, Luna.
Kebra is survived by her mother, Misty Griffith of Baxter Springs, KS; father, Rex Griffith of Texas; daughter, Renleigh Feken, and Renleigh’s father, Scott Feken; brother, Brad Cox of Joplin, MO, and fiancée Stephanie Moritz; sister, Tia Griffith; nieces and nephews, Malaya, C.J., Alexa, and Emmie. Steve and Mary Cox, Kebra’s maternal grandparents, and Hazel Griffith, her paternal grandmother, predeceased her.
The Lowell Cemetery Pavilion will host a memorial graveside ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Kevin Fanning will serve as the master of ceremonies.
