Katrina Bobo Death – Katrina Bobo of Marengo, Ohio has sadly passed away. She died after a deadly car accident on U.S. Route 33 in Fairfield County on Thursday 1st June 2023. She was pronounced dead at the scene. According to information released, after 5:30 o’clock in the evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the collision took place in the westbound lanes of Route 33 at Allen Road. This location is approximately eight miles east of Canal Winchester.
How did the accident happen?
The driver of a 2012 Honda Ridgeline that was traveling southeast on Route 33 did not yield before turning left into Allen Road. This caused an accident. At the same crossroads, a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, this time toward the northwest, collided with the Honda. Katrina Bobo, who was a passenger in the Saturn, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. A child who was riding in the vehicle appeared to be unharmed, but they still took them to a hospital in Columbus just to be safe.
The driver of the Honda was sent to Grant Medical Center, while the other woman who was riding in the Saturn was transported to Mount Carmel East. There was no provision made for their conditions. Since the collision had place, the westbound lanes of Route 33 have been made available again.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a semi-tractor trailer killed a 33-year-old woman on U.S. 33 East in Fairfield County Friday night the 28th of April 2023. Randi Maddix, 33, of Pontiac, Michigan, stopped on U.S. 33 East to help two 18-year-olds in a 2005 Pontiac G6 who had been in a single-vehicle crash at 10:05 p.m. A 2016 Freightliner semi-trailer traveled south on U.S. 33 East while Maddix helped the teens. Semi hit Pontiac and Maddix. Troopers reported Maddix died at the scene. Mount Carmel East treated the two Pontiac teens.
The semi-trailer driver received minor injuries at the scene. At the site, the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, Hocking Township Fire/EMS, Berne Township, Amanda Township, Clear Creek Township, Fairfield County Coroner, and Ohio Department of Transportation assisted. Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
