Death: Missing woman found dead in a waterway near Myrtle Beach – According to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard, police are investigating after a woman’s body was discovered floating in the Intracoastal Waterway on Monday.
According to fox46.com, Kathy Holderfield, 68, of Pinehurst, North Carolina, was discovered floating near Colonial Mall after she went missing early Monday morning, according to Willard. Her spouse reported a missing from her condo in the Barefoot area.

According to Willard, authorities suspect Holderfield died between 9 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. on Monday. The cause of death has yet to be established. An autopsy will be performed later this week.
