Death: Authorities in Texas have apprehended a woman wanted for the murder of a 16-year-old girl – After officials solicited the public’s aid in locating her, a Texas lady was caught in the shooting death of a teen girl. As previously reported, Chelsea Ann-Marie Shipp, 24, was wanted for the killing of a 16-year-old girl on Sunday in West Jefferson County, Texas, southwest of Beaumont.
according to oxygen.com, The victim has been identified as Katelynn Nicole Stone of Vidor, Texas, which is roughly 30 miles northeast of where her corpse was discovered, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Stone’s identity had previously been kept a secret until her family was informed.
Multiple local law enforcement agencies confirmed on Wednesday that Shipp had been apprehended and charged with Stone’s murder. Officials from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Liberty Hill Police Department, and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office found Shipp around 3:40 a.m. near Liberty Hill, some 250 miles from where Stone’s body was discovered, just north of Austin, according to the release. Her bond was set at $1 million and she was lodged in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
