On Tuesday, October 4th, Snoop posted on his Instagram account announcing that she had passed away. Katara Dillard passed away in what can only be described as a shocking and unexpected turn of events, the details of which have yet to be revealed.

Mychel “Snoop” Dillard, a waitress and self-proclaimed “serial entrepreneur” who sprang to fame alongside 2 Chainz as co-owner of a Pablo Escobar-themed lounge, died on March 18. Along with the star power of 2 Chainz’s partial ownership, Dillard and her playboy image contribute to the success of her businesses.
Dillard had to fend for herself as a child. Her mother fled her abusive father by taking the family to Nashville, Tennessee, where she had spent her youth.
She finally got into Vanderbilt University at the age of 16, and four years later, she earned a degree in economics. She says that getting her degree was incentive to reclaim custody of her daughter. She was able to see her daughter again a week after graduating. After completing his education, Dillard found employment as a financial advisor at Ameriprise, which was then owned by American Express. She credits the experience she gained there with preparing her for her future success as a business owner, namely in the areas of finance, property management, and insurance. However, Dillard lost her job with the economic downturn in 2009.
