Karen Pelletier Obituary Peabody, Massachusetts Resident died after battling with cancer: Karen Ann (Frisch) Pelletier, 64, beloved wife of Philip Pelletier, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, after a heroic struggle with cancer. She was born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Alfred and Rosemary (Brawley) Frisch. She was reared in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1978. She completed her schooling and received an associate’s degree from North Shore Community College.
Karen has been in Peabody for the past two years, having previously lived in Georgetown for almost thirty years. She has spent the majority of her life raising her family. She loved to cook and travel, particularly cruising, which she did with family and friends on multiple occasions. Her greatest delight was being a wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend, and she will be missed by everyone she knew.
In addition to her husband, with whom she was married for over 38 years, she is survived by her daughter, Alison Pelletier and her partner, Samuel Ashbrook of Georgetown; a son, Jason Pelletier and his wife, Sarah of Manchester, NH; a granddaughter, Julia Pelletier of NH; three cousins, Rosemary Boudreau, Shelley Doyle, and Mary Mahoney; and several nieces and nephews, including her beloved niece, Alicia Lindeman of Cambridge. She was also the sister of the late Sheila Frisch, E. Michael Frisch, and midshipman Alfred “JR” Frisch.
Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a service at 12 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
