Kaiser Santa Clara Shooting, One arrested following Kaiser ER call- The Santa Clara Police Department is now dispatching officers to the 700 block of Lawrence Expressway in response to a call for assistance that was received at around 6:58 this morning at Kaiser Hospital.

According to a statement released by the department on Tuesday morning, “substantial” police action took place in the emergency room of the Kaiser Hospital located in Santa Clara. In a tweet sent out at 7:18 in the morning, the police stated that they were “pleased to inform you that our staff was able to come to a peaceful resolution with a subject in the emergency room at Kaiser Hospital.” As a result of a potentially dangerous scenario that was reported at the emergency room of the Kaiser hospital in Santa Clara, a person has been taken into custody, as stated by the police. No shots were fired related to the initial report or the police response.
