Justin Kaplan Death – The Vice President of Sales at the well-known Florida Window and Door has sadly passed away. Justin Kaplan, of Boca Raton, Florida died on Tuesday, May 6, 2023. The former Field manager at Pulte Group and former Owner of Hospitality Inventory Solutions LLC was pronounced dead from an apparent suicide following his battle with depression. “Rest in peace Justin, please! I am here if you ever wanna talk, I don’t wanna lose no more friends to suicide…Mental struggle is real bro!,” a social media user wrote following the tragic news.

Justin was the Regional Sales Manager at Florida Window and Door before he was promoted and made Vice President of the Sales teams. In his early days, Justin worked as the Territory Sales Rep at Johnson Brothers Wine and Liquor Distributions. He graduated from West Boca High School. He was also an Alumnus of the Florida Gulf Coast University.

Until his unexpected death, he was the Vice President for about eleven months. He was a father, a friend, and also a colleague. Sales Manager at Florida Window and Door – a replacement window business firm created in 1983. Justin’s death makes it the second reported suicide around Florida in two days. On Monday night a 50-year-old man was struck and killed by the Brightline train in Delray Beach.

 

Police said that 50-year-old Jeffrey Balsewich was declared deceased at the scene. The accident happened at about 9:50 on Tuesday night near the intersection of Northeast 14th Street and North Federal Highway west of North Old Dixie Highway. A tweet claims that the 2300 block of Dixie was closed due to an accident.

The police in Delray Beach are looking into a tragic collision between a person and a Brightline train. From the 1600 block to the 2300 block of N. Old Dixie Highway, the road is closed to traffic in both directions. According to tweets from the police department, witnesses reported the vehicle was in the railway’s path when it was struck by the southbound train. There had been a freight train passing here earlier.

Pompano Beach lost a pedestrian at 7:24 a.m. on Friday when a Brightline bus collided with them at the intersection of Northeast Sixth Street and North Dixie Highway. The preliminary investigation conducted by detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office indicates that the Brightline train was heading south on the west track as it approached the crossing at Northeast Sixth Street. Dyanna Fernandez, age 29, was also approaching the intersection while going east along the north side of Northeast Sixth Street. Eyewitnesses informed investigators that the woman strolled around the lowered safety gate and continued east across the railroad lines while texting on her phone.
