Justin Garrison was born in Ottumwa on February 11, 1998, to Arthur “Art” and Christina (Harvey) Garrison, and died in an accident on March 12, 2022, at Keosauqua Hospital.
Justin worked as a welder for John Deere after graduating from Fairfield High School in 2016. Justin enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was golfing, hunting, or rafting down a river. He was a member of the FFA in high school and the America Motorcross Association after school (AMA). Spending time with family and friends was the most essential thing.
Justin’s parents, Arthur “Art” and Christina of Fairfield; sister Danielle (Noah) of Davenport; two nieces, Aeralyn and Seraphyna; grandpa, Alvin Garrison of Fairfield; uncle, David Garrison of Fairfield; aunt, Tammy (Jerry) Parker of Des Moines; and many relatives and dear friends will all miss him.
His maternal grandparents, John and Judy Harvey; paternal grandmother, Linda Garrison; Aunt Bobbie Jo Garrison; and Great Aunt Norma Harvey all preceded him in death.
Behner Funeral Home will host a visitation for family and friends on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Behner Funeral Home will have a funeral ceremony on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. The funeral will be followed by cremation, with inurnment in Maple Hill Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Art and Christina Garrison have created a memorial fund in Justin Garrison’s honor, which may be addressed to them at 2552 Glasgow Road, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.
