Joshua Thornton Obituary, Death: Joshua Charles Thornton, age 33, of Dallas, Georgia sadly passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 7th, 2021. Joshua was truly one of a kind, a free spirit with an authentic soul whose heart was bigger than the world could keep.
Joshua Thornton was born in GA to Diana Fernandez Thornton and Glenn Charles Thornton on March 24th, 1988 and raised in Dallas, GA.
From a young age Josh was a hard worker and a lover of the great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, and hunting. This, paired with his natural work ethic, prompted him to start his own landscaping company while still in his teens which he grew by going door to door. Later he started working for a tree service as a groundman.
This is where he first envisioned himself running his own tree service company. Then in adulthood he traveled widely throughout the United States and was ultimately able to realize his ambition in Texas, where he founded Joshua Tree Service.
Later he relocated to St John’s County, Florida where he incorporated his business and grew a loyal customer base. Josh always made time for his family and the small things in life despite his busy schedule and arduous work.
Josh made an impact on everyone he met, with a smile that could light up a room and an infectious enthusiasm and charisma. His customers were like an extension of his family and his family was everything to him. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle and partner.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother paternal Connie Thornton and maternal grandfather Richard R. Fernandez. He is survived by his grandmother maternal side Susie Gonzales and grandfather paternal side John Thornton, mother Diana Fernandez Thornton, father Glenn Charles Thornton, sister Stephanie Reyes, brother in law Rick Mehrabian, nieces Morgan Webb and Mia Mehrabian, nephews Caden Bloom and Cameron Mehrabian, sister Kristy Buckle and brother in law Mike Buckle, nephews Michael Buckle and Maddox Buckle, niece McKenzie Buckle, brother Richard Reyes and loving partner Ashley Scott and son Grayson Scott
Joshua was so very loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
