Joshua Kogel Death – It has been determined that Josh Kogel, the chief fireman for Cavour, was the individual who passed away on Monday while battling a fire in Huron. Kogel, who is now 48 years old, served as a firefighter for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by two biological children and two stepchildren. While he was battling the blaze on Monday, he experienced a medical emergency. At Hurd Alignment and Service, it was determined that three of the structures were a total loss.
The Huron Fire Department claims that workers battled the fire at a commercial property located on Highway 14 in Huron while the temperature outside reached 100 degrees. In the course of putting out the fire, one firefighter was tragically killed. Multiple organizations have provided a response. According to NorthWestern Energy, the firm was forced to turn off the power to the circuit that serves the South Dakota State Fairgrounds in Huron because of a fire that was west of the town.
