Joshua Clouse, Cameron police officer and Albert Acosta died in Texas shooting

Joshua Clouse Death – The Cameron policed officer shot dead has been identified by the Milam County Sheriff’s Office as 39-year-old Joshua Clouse. Joshua Clouse and Albert Acosta passed away after Texas shooting. The incident that resulted in his death happened on Wednesday night, May 10, 2023 in Milam County, and the Texas Rangers are currently investigating the incident. A wreath has been placed on top of Officer Clouse’s patrol unit, which has been stationed in front of the police station.

Cameron police officer died in Texas shooting

Residents are encouraged to pay their condolences by visiting the memorial and placing flowers on it. On the evening of May 10, at 10:55 p.m., officers from the Cameron Police Department responded to the 700 block of North Travis after receiving reports of a woman who had been shot in the back of the neck by her spouse. The woman traveled a couple of blocks from the residence to the nearest convenient location in order to ask for assistance.

Following the arrival of law enforcement officials at the scene, a request was made to obtain a search warrant for a residence located in the 500 block of East 7th Street. According to the Milam County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement personnel from numerous nearby agencies went to serve the warrant, which led to the suspect opening fire.

These police were attempting to arrest the individual for the warrant. The Cameron Police officer sustained injuries, and that the suspect, a Cameron resident named Albert Acosta, age 29, was shot and died during the incident. The cop was rushed to the hospital, but he did not survive his stay there and passed away later. The Texas Rangers are conducting an investigation into the incident that occurred. The life of Sergeant Joshua Clouse was honored by his loved ones, friends, and the town of Cameron, in recognition of his selfless service.

Sergeant Clouse was a devoted family man who served as a deacon in his local church. Condolences are been sent to the family members of Joshua Clouse and the Cameron police department.
