He was announced dead by a close friend through a social media publication that read “Joseph Stango, the best friend I could’ve ever asked for, really a brother. I trusted him with my life. Rest easy Stango, till I see you in heaven and we can ball again.”
Who was Joseph Stango?
Joseph Francesco Stango was born in Denville on August 25, 1997, and spent most of his life in Rockaway Township, New Jersey. Since 2019, he has been a resident of Ventnor City, where he is a beloved part of the community. Joe made a significant impact on the world and was well-known for having a big heart. He was also constantly worried about the welfare of others.
He was a lovely person on the inside and out, and he had such an influence on everyone around him. Joe had a modest, kind, and sympathetic nature, and God’s love was abundant in his heart. Joe liked to play pick-up basketball, watch the UFC, and play sports, especially his beloved NY Giants. In addition, he loved comedies, movies, and dogs. He was full of laughter and usually had a smile on his face. Joe held a variety of jobs, including those in the food business, construction, and as a future electrician.
Regardless of the task or project at hand, he consistently went above and above with an exceptional work ethic. Joseph G. and Donna M. Stango were devoted parents who cherished their son Joe. His devoted siblings, Michael and Alyssa Stango, loved and treasured him. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 3, at St. Mary’s Church 15 Myers Avenue in Denville, NJ. Entombment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.
