After more than three decades of service, Assistant Fire Chief Joseph Morello has risen through the ranks to become the department’s Chief. Even in the face of extreme adversity, he maintained a level head as a leader.

His dedication to practice and readiness was unparalleled. He realized that the best way to combat fires was to not just put out existing ones, but to prevent future ones by training and teaching.

Who was Joseph Morello?
