According to the findings of the inquiry, a tractor trailer driven by Julian Torres of Philadelphia was going on Federalsburg Highway as it approached the Bloomingdale Avenue crossing.

This information was obtained through the investigation by the police. At the same moment, the police allege that an automobile driven by Betty Anne Williamson, 74, of Federalsburg quickly entered the junction from her halted position on Preston Road. Williamson was at the wheel of the vehicle. The force of the contact, according to the authorities, was so great that it caused Williamson’s vehicle to veer off the road and come to a stop in a grassy area of the shoulder.

According to the reports of the police, Williamson did not survive the collision. The authorities have stated that a dashboard camera recording of the accident was found on the tractor trailer. The investigation being conducted by the Federalsburg Police Department is having the Maryland State Police Crash Team provide assistance.
