Jordan Collins Death – Family and friends have taken to social media to mourn the death of Greenfield, Indiana resident Jordan Collins who passed away. He died on Sunday 28th May 2023 after being involved in a deadly car accident. According to information released ,an accident involving a single vehicle that took place early on Sunday morning in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 resulted in the death of one person.

What happened to Jordan Collins?

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department was able to confirm that the accident took place on westbound Interstate 70 about two in the morning within a construction zone between County Road 400 West and Mt. Comfort Road. The authorities have not disclosed any additional information regarding the events that led up to the crash as of yet. The inquiry into the accident is still ongoing at the time this report was made. He maintained a pleasant demeanor at all times and was always willing to assist in whatever way was needed

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, a horrific seven-car accident on westbound route 70 has closed both directions of the highway. The collision occurred between Center Street and Indiana State Road 39 in Hendricks County, Indiana, south of Plainfield and north of Mooresville, at 12:05 local time. Three semi-trucks and four cars collided. First responders found many damaged cars, including one fire and flipped. The driver died after being trapped in the car.

According to Indiana State Police, the Hendricks County Coroner identified the dead at the crime scene. After notifying family, that person’s identity will be revealed. Two other persons were taken to a hospital after the fatality. They will heal from non-life-threatening injuries. A multi-vehicle crash halted eastbound traffic for over six hours. Authorities inspected the damage. The Indiana State Police, Plainfield Police Department, Plainfield Fire Department, Hendricks County Coroner, and Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

An initial investigation into the tragedy discovered that a second accident to the west had caused a traffic bottleneck. ISP reported that a semi-trailer driver failed to apply the brakes. Due of this, the lorry collided with other automobiles, flipping two and damaging several more. Crash investigation continues. The ISP believes neither drinking nor drugs caused the tragic tragedy. One eastbound lane has opened for crash investigators.
