Jordan Childress Cause Of Death, Obituary Unavailable Yet – A Batesville man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Arkansas Highway 167, just north of Batesville, on Thursday afternoon.
As reported by whiterivernow.com, Jordan Childress, 27, was the victim, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary investigation report.
According to the report, Childress was driving north on Highway 167 (St. Louis Street) in a 2014 Dodge when his vehicle hit standing water in the northbound lane and began to hydroplane, rotating counter-clockwise into oncoming traffic, where the Dodge collided with a 2002 Ford travelling southbound on the highway.
Childress was taken to White River Medical Center and died as a result of his injuries. The roadway was moist from rain at the time of the collision, which occurred at 5:24 p.m., according to the report.
