Jonathan Schmidt Death – Family and friends mourns the death of Jonathan Schmidt who passed away. He died on Thursday 20th July 2023 in Dayton after being being involved in accident at the age of 38. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “This is my niece’s husband. Please pray for comfort and peace”. He was born on December 28, 1984 in Sidney, Ohio, he was the son Andrew Schmidt and Elaine (Woodruff).
Jonathan Schmidt Education and Career
Jonathan received his high school diploma from Jackson Center in 2003 and went on to graduate from the Carpenters Union #136. He enjoyed going camping with his family and driving his pickup truck in his spare time. People will always remember Jonathan for his selflessness and eagerness to assist anyone in need. He was naturally charming and has the capacity to connect with individuals from all walks of life because to this quality. Because of his talent in communication, he was able to motivate and favorably affect the people in his immediate environment.
In addition, the fact that he was generous contributes even more to the significant impact that he has on the neighborhood. Jonathan Schmidt has maintained a level head and a grounded attitude in spite of the many successes and honors he has received. He was gracious toward the efforts of others and never misses an opportunity to express appreciation for the blessings that have been placed upon him by life.
He married Stephanie Schlater, and she survives in Sidney. He is also survived by children: Keaton and Adeline both at home, his father Andrew & Karen Schmidt survive in Sidney and his mother Elaine (Woodruff) & Jon Knouff survive in Sidney. , sister: Erin Schmidt, Vandalia, mother-in-law: Christine & Jon Wente, New Bremen, in-law: Ashley & Marcus Giere, Yorkshire, Andrea Wente, New Bremen, Daniel & Kelsey Gaier, St. Marys, father-in-law Paul Gaier, Jr, Fort Loramie, nieces & nephews: Mikayla Perkins, Lincoln & Elias Giere and Eleanor Gaier.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. Friends may call the funeral home on Monday from 3 to 7 PM.
