Jonas John-Richard Death – Jonas John-Richard Christian Jenkins has passed away suddenly. He was pronounced dead on Tuesday, the 4th of March 2023. He died at the Fairmont Medical Center, leaving his family and loved ones who will always miss him in a state of deep sorrow and grief. He was born and raised in Morgantown into the family of Timothy N. Jenkins and Savannah D. Christian on May 14, 2018.
He liked playing with his inflatables and Hot Wheels cars. He also loved vintage automobiles, particularly The Oldsmobile. Red was his hue of choice. He enjoyed seeing his great uncle arriving on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and wearing his Spiderman boots. Everyone he encountered grew to love him.

He was known to be the happiest, kindest, and most endearing youngster anyone had ever encountered was Jonas. He was a fantastic brother, son, nephew, grandchild, etc. Jonas has shared with his family love, laughter, and so much more in his for years of living. Jonas loved attending Sunday School at Covenant Church.

The circumstances surrounding Jonas John-Richard’s passing including his precise cause and manner of death is yet to be revealed. On behalf of the family of Jonas, Abigail Jenkins has created a GoFundMe page to assist with donations in support to the family. All funds will help will help the family with funeral costs and burial expenses. “We thank everyone for the love they have given us and thank God for the time we have had with little JoJo.” -Abigail said.
Funeral Services
The family has asked the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, at 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554, to take care of the fueral arrangements. On Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 4 – 8 pm and on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 10 – 11 am, friends will be welcome. On Friday at 11 am, Pastor Josh Morgan and Pastor Roy Weese will lead the service. Grandview Memorial Gardens will thereafter be used for the burial.
