John Lunn Death – Sazerac Company Master Distiller John Lunn of Spring Hill, Tennessee has died. On Thursday 30th March 2023, he passed away at his residence surrounded by loved ones. The news of his death was known through a post made on Facebook that says “I have just learned of the passing of a dear friend and longtime colleague, John Lunn”. Details surrounding the actual cause of John Lunn’s death has not been known.
John Lunn Birth and Education
John’s parents, Harry Lunn and Evaline Kincaid Lunn, welcomed him into the world on December 20, 1969 in Spring Hill, Tennessee. His paternal grandfather was also named Harry Lunn. John received his high school education at Spring Hill High School and then continued his education at Vanderbilt University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He was working at the Sazerac Company in Kentucky at the time.
His position at the A & J Bond Distillery in Tennessee was that of Plant Manager. John had amassed a considerable collection of vintage farm toys thanks to his passion for collecting these items. In addition to that, he had a thing for Jeeps of a more vintage era. He was very lively and those close to him enjoyed spending time with him.
John always made sure to spend the day off with his loved ones on Sundays. Tom (Christina) Lunn, who was also his brother, was his closest confidant. He was so incredibly proud of his niece, Lindze Lunn, and the many achievements she had achieved. He was very fond of spending time with his two nephews, Gabe and Dane Lunn, playing games and ball. He found great joy in the time he got to spend chatting with his sons about the various things they did during the week. His cousins, as well as his uncles Bayless Kincaid and Danny Lunn, and all of his other uncles will miss him greatly.

John is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alma Tankersley Kincaid and Raymond Kincaid; paternal grandparents, Sarah Cammuse Lunn and Hugh Lunn; aunts, Viola Thacker, Brenda Mayfield, Louise Moore; uncles, James Kincaid, Calvin Lunn. John’s funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11:00AM-2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Memorial Park.
