John “G-13” Grzywaczewski Cause Of Death, Obituary Not Yet Available – On May 9, 2022, Officer John “G-13” Grzywaczewski died abruptly. John, also known to his family, friends, and coworkers as “Cap” and “Gryz,” was an 18-year veteran police officer. He spent the first two years of his career with the New York State Police.
According to fundthefirst.com, He spent the next 16 years of his life with the Village of Chester Police Department, which he considered his extended family. Someone knew the Cap wherever you went.
Gryz enjoyed being outside, whether working in his workshop, watching NASCAR outside while sipping twist-teas or lattes, “chillin” with his friends, stacking wood, or riding his ATV. He was a vinyl junkie who would spend hours listening to his albums or repairing stereos and speakers he found on the side of the road.
Grzy had a passion for animals, which he shared with his life partner, Amanda. This was demonstrated by the “mini-farm” he had at home, which included hens, goats, a cat, and his beloved dogs.
The Village of Chester PBA has organized this fundraiser to help his loving wife Amanda with her financial needs. Gryz would gladly give the shirt off his back to assist anyone in need. Let us repay the favor by donating to this fund and showing Amanda how much the “Cap” meant to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing or interacting with him. The entire sum will be donated to John’s wife, Amanda.
