What was John Carter’s cause of death?
The identity of a man killed in a collision was disclosed by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday. According to the coroner, John Shelton Carter IV, 36, passed away at the site of the collision on Tigerville Road that was reported at around 11 a.m. on April 24, 2023. Carter was traveling north on Tigerville Road on a 2022 Yamaha motorcycle when the motorcycle veered off the road and collided with a fence.
According to troopers, the motorcycle descended an embankment and plunged into a stream bed. Carter was not wearing a helmet when he was thrown off the motorcycle, according to the coroner.
