Who was Jody Wilson?
Jody Wilson was a resident of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and a native of Salem, Michigan. Other places she has stayed include Hazel Park, Lansing, South Lyon in Michigan, and New York, New York, according to her social media profile. Jody, popularly known as R2-DeckU went to Northville High School and also attended Clown College.
Jo was a former Referee at Roller Derby and also a former Referee at Detroit Derby Girls. She worked at Detroit Roller Derby and was also a former Field Service Tech at Schlumberger. Jo worked as a PCB Designer at Continental and also at Methode Electronics in Southfield, Michigan. She worked as an Instructor at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters in Westchester, New York. Jo was a ref at Ann Arbor Roller Derby and a stunt Driver at Uber.
Jody was not only a cherished member of the roller derby family and community but also a beacon of light in the derby world. She talked a lot about hanging out with her mom Barb Wilson-Inman and just having a great time together. She adored her mom and felt so safe and comfortable with her.
