Alisia Bergsman wrote on Facebook; “So many of us are heartbroken over the tragic and unexpected loss of the force of nature that was Jill Swain. Over the past few days, I’ve supported my close friend Monica as she and a few others were by Jill’s side at the hospital. Jill developed a fever last week and was hospitalized on Saturday. Over the last 5 days, she battled a serious infection that tragically ended up taking her from the world too soon. She passed away peacefully earlier today. Her family – and especially her two kids – are in my thoughts right now, and need time to process this unexpected, devastating loss. A loss that will leave a hole in Huntersville, and with many Huntersville residents, for a long time to come.”
