Jessica McGuinty Death – Jessica McGuinty, Founder/CEO at Jessicurl has passed away unexpectedly. She was confirmed dead on Saturday, June 10, 2023. According to reports, she died at the age of 47 after suffering from a disease her entire life which has been identified as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. “She was only recently diagnosed earlier this year. Jess passed away next to me and her father Moe with his wife Wendy close by.” a friend confirmed.
This makes me feel so sick. She was in my Ehlers-Danlos Facebook group. She was 47. She was a bleeding heart liberal, business owner, and Jon Batiste enthusiast like me. And she’s dead of pretty much the same thing I have.

Jessica McGuinty was the Founder/CEO at Jessicurl, a health and beauty salon in California. She was a former Host of Global Grooves, Wednesday nights from 6-8PM at KHUM, Radio Without The Rules. Jessica attended St. Helena High School where she completed her secondary education. She was a resident of Camarillo, California where she lived until her time of death. She was a native of North Bay, Ontario where she was born and raised. Jessica was happily married to her loving husband, Chris Spohn.

To say that Jessica McGuinty was amazing and passionate and creative and funny wouldn’t do her justice. She has been such an important person in my life – the best curlfriend anyone could ask for! We supported each other as our businesses and over the years met up around the country – from New York to California. I wish I had the opportunity to tell her how special she was to me and how much I loved her and those gorgeous red curls of hers
