He did not get to spend much time with his friends while they were growing up since he was always away serving his country in the military. In most years, he was only able to visit his hometown a few times a year, either to pay his respects at a death or if he wants to study a new language. It was impossible to overstate the man’s intelligence.
His friends and loved ones stated endlessly how selfless and confident he was before his death after the accident that happened on Thursday. No matter how well you know him, you never stopped looking up to him as the person you should emulate. He maintained the warmest, most genuine, and most beautiful smile at all times.
Scott Bridgeman posted that “we made plans to see each other and I didn’t follow through. Friends, don’t put it off. Don’t wait to make that call, send that message or make that trip. You don’t have the time that you think you do. And if you are robbed of the opportunity, you’re not going to like the way it feels. Jerry was a combat veteran. He served our country, and every community he was a part of, with honor. He was an incredible person and I will never let his memory die. Rest in peace, brother.”
According to Sydney Noel Karr, who is one of Jerry Moon’s children, he confirmed in a Facebook post he made while announcing Jerry’s death that the funeral arrangements will be made and communicated by the family members. Condolences are been sent to the family members and friends including the US army officials.
