Jerry Digiovanni Death – The Pennsylvania DECA is mourning the passing of their beloved Executive Director Jerry Digiovanni who died recently. Jerry Digiovanni, a resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was announced dead today, Sunday, the 5th of March 2023. “Many people cross your path throughout your life. Some of them leave more of an impact than the rest.” Jerry was that person. He had a special vision that allowed him to see potential in people that many couldn’t even see.
There was no cause of death reported for Jerry Digiovanni at the time of this publication. However, his family has confirmed the heartbreaking news. His death has left his friends, family and the entire Pennsylvania DECA family devastated and shocked.

It’s with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the sudden passing of our beloved PA DECA Executive Director, Jerry DiGiovanni. He was a student member, alumni, and volunteer before he became our Executive Director. Jerry was the voice and spirit of PA DECA for more than two decades, leading PA DECA with his whole heart.
He loved DECA and seeing all of our students succeed and have the best experience possible. PA DECA experienced unprecedented growth and student involvement under Jerry’s leadership. We know Jerry wants to see you all succeed at ICDC and beyond. Jerry will be forever missed.
Who was Jerry Digiovanni?
Jerry Digiovanni was born in East Norriton, Pennsylvania and he lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Norristown Area High School. After high school, Jerry went on to study Accountancy at Villanova University. He was a Realtor Sales Associate at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors and the Former Auditor / Operations Manager at Arthur Andersen LLP. Jerry also worked at KPMG. He was the brother of LMPD Officer Mike DiGiovanni.
Jerry was a student member, alumni, and volunteer before he became the Executive Director at Pennsylvania DECA. He was the voice and spirit of PA DECA for more than two decades, leading PA DECA with his whole heart. Jerry loved DECA and seeing all of the students succeed and have the best experience possible.
